This wedding was truly an unforgettable one. The couple tied the knot at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, MA. A breathtaking ceremony was held on the dock behind the ICA, overlooking the Boston Harbor to the music of The Gilded Harps. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour on the patio at sunset. Every detail, from the beautifully crisp white florals arranged by Tangerine Creations to the unique lounge and bar furniture, built by Art of the Event and Party by Design, made for a luxurious event. From cocktail hour, guests were invited to the second floor Theater of the ICA for an elegant dinner prepared by Wolfgang Puck Catering. Upon entrance into the floor to ceiling glass windowed room, guests were greeted by Mariachi Tapatio who performed throughout dinner. The Theater looked stunning with a large custom frame hanging from the center of the ceiling that suspended delicate flowers and crystals for a dramatic scene. Along with beautiful chandeliers, white crinkled linens and exquisite shades of purple and white flower arrangements lining the dining tables, the overall design was truly a work of art! After dinner, the bride and groom surprised their guests with a firework display over the Boston Harbor. For the remainder of the evening, the guests danced to the music of the New York based band, Around Town Entertainment and the talented DJ Raffi in conjunction with a superb bongo player, all in the lobby of the museum, which looked more like an upscale night club! The later part of the evening offered guests many options such as an interactive ice luge from Brilliant Ice, a Digital Photo Booth and savory snacks prepared by Wolfgang Puck. The spectacular event was captured by Marina and Yi Sun from LifeFusion Photography. The day and the couple were truly special and the Unique Weddings by Alexis team had an unforgettable time designing and planning this stellar wedding!
